La carrera hacia el Óscar comenzó oficialmente. Este viernes 5 de diciembre se revelaron las nominaciones para la 31ª edición de los Critics Choice Awards, una de las ceremonias más influyentes rumbo a los premios de la Academia.
La película más nominada es Sinners, el aclamado drama de horror dirigido por Ryan Coogler, que arrasó con 17 nominaciones, incluyendo Mejor Película, Mejor Director y Mejor Actor para Michael B. Jordan.
En segundo lugar se encuentra One Battle After Another, de Paul Thomas Anderson, con 14 candidaturas.
En el tercer lugar está Frankenstein, la versión del clásico dirigida por Guillermo del Toro y protagonizada por Oscar Isaac y Jacob Elordi, con 11 nominaciones, consolidándose como uno de los contendientes más fuertes de la noche.
Marty Supreme de Josh Safdie obtuvo 8 nominaciones, Sentimental Value de Joachim Trier tuvo un excelente desempeño con 7. Esa misma cantidad obtuvo Wicked: For Good.
